Gustavus Vaxa

Goal:
Gustavus College in St. Peter Minnesota needed a way to promote their extra-curricular program: “Vaxa” which helps students explore and discover true vocation at the intersection of their passions, values, and purpose.

My Role:
Art direction, illustration, storyboarding, 2D animation, and creative editing. I led creative strategy and collaborated with the program directors and communications department.

Process Highlights:

• Created moodboards to and pitched a style treatment

• Designed styleframes based on the client’s style choice

• Animated the styleframes

• Edited and finished the video

Result:

• Valuable resource with a long shelf life for communicating a critical program available to students

• The staff loved it, and it gave a student an opportunity to provide the voiceover

• This was a great learning opportunity for me to direct and lead a project myself
